Connecting gardens, groups and growers to create a more resilient food future in Darebin

Sunnyfields Community Garden

The Sunnyfields Community Garden in Northcote was created in 2013 in partnership with Cultivating Community and the Northcote Baptist Church. The church provided temporary access and land for the garden, which involved a rebuild of a former garden centre and nursery. The garden is managed by Cultivating Community and currently has 22 plot holders. Whether you’re growing food there, attending a workshop or just walking past, it’s lovely to see Sunnyfields in bloom!

The garden is located at 540 High St, Northcote.

  1. Greetings Lucy, I am. A member of a church community in Brunswick who are looking into setting up some community garden beds in our church grounds and I was wondering if you could offer us some advice as to how best to get started.
