A big thank you to The Diggers Club for a fantastic seed donation to our Urban Food Program! Their seeds will support our garden at DIVRS and our Backyard Basics project at the Eric St Housing Estate in Coburg. Volunteers at DIVRS are growing food for our emergency relief and Eric St residents, with support from our horticulturalist Poppy, are producing a multitude of vegetables and herbs on a weekly basis for sale to two High St cafes in Preston. Proceeds of these sales go back into the backyard basics project to keep Eric Street’s garden flourishing .Thanks to Diggers we will have a huge variety of food to share!
