Farmer Incubator is recruiting for a Project Coordinator to deliver their new intermediate farmer traineeship program across two sites in Bundoora and Keilor.
The successful applicant will be overseeing four trainees to grow a crop of organic garlic at two different farms, and will also coordinate the delivery of a series of sustainable agriculture masterclasses at Bundoora Park Farm.
The successful applicant will require farming knowledge and experience, with specific garlic farming skills being desirable but not essential as this knowledge can be provided via mentors. To deliver the education component of the program, the role will require strong skills in event and project management, including stakeholder relations, basic finance and budgeting, marketing and promotions, public speaking, managing and motivating a team, and developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation processes.
