Are you 14 to 25 years old and interested to learn more about gardening, cooking, food justice and sustainability?
Join us in the Youth World Food Garden Program – a collaborative journey designed by Just Food Collective and Sustain: the Australian Food Network, and funded by VicHealth’s Jumpstart initiative.
This workshop will focus on the food and social justice movements that have arisen from issues in the food system, where key individuals and groups of people, including young people, have fought for a better food system. We will also spend a bit of time in the garden taking care of what we planted so far in our garden bed at Oakhill Food Justice Farm. 👩🌾
‘Fighting for a Fairer Food System’ is the fourth of six workshops in our journey. You’re welcome to join us for this one or stay for the rest of the program (click here to learn more about the other workshops in the program)
When: Saturday 4 March 2-5pm
Where: Oakhill Food Justice Farm, 233 Tyler Street, Preston
