DIVRS is looking for a skilled, passionate part-time Project Officer (0.2 FTE) to deliver anew project, Seeding students: Growing healthy food locally and learning about food security and sustainability.
You’ll be working with the Urban Food Coordinator and a group of volunteers to develop an engaging excursion program for primary age students and support schools with seedlings and pods. The project will help primary school students learn about growing fresh food locally and the nutritional and sustainability benefits and how to reduce food waste; enhance wellbeing and connection through gardening; and raise awareness of local food insecurity.
