Connecting gardens, groups and growers to create a more resilient food future in Darebin

Darebin Food Harvest Network Edible Inner North Bike Tour – BOOKED OUT!

The response to the Darebin Food Harvest Network Edible Inner North Bike Tour (part of the Sustainable Living Festival Program) has been fantastic – but unfortunately that means that the event is now booked out.

If you missed out but would still like to experience some of the diverse and productive edible landscapes in Darebin, then why not drop in to one of the many public and community gardens that will be open to the public this Sunday 24th February from 9am – 12pm:

Fairfield Community Gardens: 1 Hamilton St Fairfield

Northcote Uniting Church Herb garden and Orchard: 251 High Street Northcote (Join in their fruit and vegie swap – email daryl.chalice@gmail.com for more information)

Northcote Library Food Garden: 32 Separation Street Northcote

Span Community Garden: 64 Clyde Street Thornbury

All Nations Park Nashi Pear Grove: Dennis Street, Northcote (open all day)

In addition, the Northcote Community Garden, Hartington Street, Northcote will be open from 1:30 – 5:00pm on Sunday 24th February (BUT NOT in the morning)
