Connecting gardens, groups and growers to create a more resilient food future in Darebin

Sustain’s Pandemic Gardening Survey Report is here!

We know you’ve been waiting for it: The National Pandemic Gardening Survey Report is here!

This year over 9,000 Australian gardeners told us what edible gardening meant to them during COVID-19. At a time of great global uncertainty, growing food was a source of solace, peace and healing; it meant safe, healthy and fresh food for family and friends; and it brought people together at a time of enforced social distancing.

As Australia plans its way forward, this publication underscores that food growing must be central to our recovery.

We invite you to embrace the vision laid out in our ambitious Roadmap for Transformation: to make Australian towns and cities edible.
