Connecting gardens, groups and growers to create a more resilient food future in Darebin

genU Community Gardens open day and community consultation, Sat 27 March

A new community garden is being planned at the old Sprout Garden site and they want to hear from you!

genU took over the garden last year and their services include a provision of activity and workplace skill development programs for NDIS participants.

They are keen to strengthen connections between their participants and the local community and are opening their doors this Saturday for an open garden and community consultation on the garden design as part of #melbournedesignweek2021

The local community is being invited, along with current clients, carers and staff, to collaborate with experienced designers and horticulturalists to redesign and revitalize the site and the program of activities.

When: Saturday 27 March 2021, 10am-3pm
Where: 40 Clapham St Thornbury (formerly Sprout)
Cost: free but registrations essential >>Book here<<
