Span Community House in Thornbury are very excited that the word is spreading well on their reinvigorated community composting program.
Since relaunching last month, 20 buckets have been dropped off, meaning over 115 litres of community food waste have been diverted from landfill into the Span composting system.
As part of this program, they are holding a series of three workshops, with the first on Sat 8-May focused on food waste avoidance and future ones dealing with composting and urban gardening.
