Could you benefit from solar panels or improved energy efficiency at your community garden or food project?
The federal government’s Powering Communities Program is offering funding of up to $12,000 to not-for-profit community organisations for energy efficiency works, renewable energy projects (including installing solar or batteries) or equipment to monitor or reduce energy.
Applications open 1 Jul and close 20 Sep 2021 at 5pm.
Organisations must be invited by their local Federal Member of Parliament to apply. Federal Members of Parliament have until 6 September 2021 to nominate community groups that will be invited to apply.
