Join Darebin permaculturist and medicinal herbalist, Taj Scicluna AKA The Perma Pixie, on a 5 week exploration of foraging, wildcrafting, wild edibles and medicinal cuisine.
In this Foraging Course, Taj will take you on a weekly immersion looking at plants in depth where you will learn:
– The Importance of Wild Foods
– Medicine as Food
– The difference between cultivated foods and wild food
– Sustainable Wildcrafting
– Safe Foraging
– Nutrition and properties of several plants in depth
– Recipes for each of these plants
At the end of each session, share delicious condiments, foods and beverages made from these plants to celebrate at the end of the evening of learning!
