Northcote Community Gardens currently have a few plots available and are welcoming expressions of interest from local green thumbs and aspiring gardeners to grow their own food and be a part of a gardening community here.
Located along the train line on Hartington St, Northcote, just behind the Northcote train station, they are a beautiful organic community garden with 26 individual plots, communal growing areas, ponds, orchards, composting systems and bee hives.
Working bees are usually held on the first Sunday, and second Saturday of the month.
Plot rates are very reasonable, with concession rates available.
If this excites you, and you’d like to know more, then please contact their Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
