Council is partnering with Bridge Darebin to run a free 8-week Sustainable Growing for Community Gardens course, an adaptation of their popular Intro to Urban Farming course.

This new program, aims to provide education to support our community gardens to grow sustainable food and provide a valuable opportunity for networking between gardens in the beginnings of a Community Garden Network.

The sessions will run for 8 weeks in September to October, Thursday evenings at Bridge Darebin, 218 High Street, Preston, and some Sunday excursions.

1-2 members from each Darebin community garden can participate in the course, and teach and share the knowledge learned in the course with their fellow community garden members.
