Bookings are now open for the 2019 Darebin Backyard Harvest Festival!
The festival runs from 4 – 19 May 2019 in a celebration of home food-growing traditions from around the world. There are four new gardens included in this year’s program, as well as old favourites to get you inspired to grow your own fresh healthy food.
Our talented hosts will provide tips on seedling propagation, keeping chickens, quails and bees, fruit tee maintenance and grafting and natural pest management. As well as a productive gardening and native bee workshop especially designed for families.
Tours run from between 60-90 minutes, and cost $10 ($5 concession). Where possible events which are a comfortable riding distance apart have been scheduled to follow one another, so why not leave the car at home and plan a fun day out riding between gardens.
