The 2022/2023 Darebin Community Grants Program opened on Monday 4 April 2022 & closes on Tuesday May 31,2022 at 11.59pm (end of day).
The Community Grants Program supports community projects and activities that address local priorities, strengthen community relationships of mutual respect, build social inclusion and environmental sustainability and enhance the well-being of City of Darebin residents.
Many wonderful groups and individuals make incredible contributions to our community. In line with Council Plan priorities we look forward to receiving your environment and sustainability project applications for:
- Climate emergency engagement projects which engage community to take genuine and measurable action on the climate emergency
- Climate emergency projects which build the resilience of our communities to avoid heat stress and fuel poverty
- Waste reduction, food security, sustainable food production, increased food recycling and stimulation of local circular economy community initiatives
- Biodiversity projects
- Projects which increase sustainable transport use
The following grants will be open in this round:
- Small Grants Program (Up to $3,000 per application)
- Medium Grants Program (Up to $15,000 per application)
- Venue Hire Support Grants Program (Up to $8,000 per application)
- Youth Projects Grants Program (Up to $5,000 per application)
