Alphington Farmers Market is held on the grounds the Melbourne Farmers Market HQ and our community food hub. This exciting initiative is a transformation from old Council offices and a barren concrete scape that used to be on this site, to a productive community meeting place.
Every week you’ll find fresh fruit and vegetables, free range eggs and meats, olives and oil, honey, nuts and grains, dairy and cheeses, breads and pastries.
There’s coffee, fresh OJ and loads for brekkie or to take home for lunch. We have a wash up station to eliminate single use disposable items and Alphington FM is proudly plastic bag free so don’t forget to BYO – including your coffee cup!
Entry is by voluntary $2 donation – card only. As MFM is a not for profit social enterprise, all donations go back into the running of the market and our other social enterprise initiatives. Thank you!
